SPESIFIKASI BlackBerry Curve 3G | Mengangkat Kasta Keluarga BlackBerry Curve

SPESIFIKASI BlackBerry Curve 3G | Mengangkat Kasta Keluarga BlackBerry Curve

Research In Motion (RIM) recently introduced the BlackBerry Curve 3G in Indonesia. Viewed from its capabilities, the BlackBerry Curve 9300 with the official name seems appropriate to raise a family prestige Curve.

As is known, RIM's BlackBerry devices have been classified into several classes, including Pearl, Curve, and Bold. Well, the best-selling are the two last names. Only, the Curve class has been identified always under Bold.

But with the presence of this new family member Curve, it looks like assessment 'just be a player in the lower middle class' should be corrected again. Why is that? Check out a review to find out why detikINET

Sweet and Light

Light, that first impression when I first got detikINET Curve embrace 3G. When weighed, the weight may Curve 3G that reached 104 grams is almost the same as Gemini (curve 8520), but more severe when compared with Onyx (Bold 9700).

Curve Design 3G look more petite with dimensions 109 x 60 x 13.9 mm and surrounded by an oval-shaped shell. Yet this is precisely could create an impression of sweetness from the smartphone that has the nickname Kepler.

Turning to the rear, Curve 3G uses a plastic cover but in order
looks elegant textured rubber coated. In the back right of the 2-megapixel camera is also setting without flash.

However, when tryed detikINET inside and outside the room in bright conditions, capable of capturing images that fairly clean. But indeed, for the dark conditions, the camera on the Curve 3G less reliable.

While the upper body, RIM has pinned short-cut for a dedicated media. Such a shortcut to access music and video exactly as in Gemini.

Trackpad on 3G Curve placed a bit more prominent position or parallel to the keypad. Only, the discomfort was found to detikINET on the keypad that it was still hard.

Understand it, the keypad on the Curve 3G lift same model with a series of Gemini and the Javelin (Curve 8900). So if you are used to typing in a long time seemed less comfortable.

3G Curve display with QVGA screen appears sweet (320 x 240). Indeed this screen is still smaller than the Onyx, but it seems to 'lack' that did not matter significantly

Kitchen and 3G Runway

Improvement made to RIM Curve 9300 series is clearly already be known from the name of the product. Which have been buried and HSDPA 3G technology in it.

Clearly, this is a significant differentiator with Gemini and Javelin. Therefore, users surfing event can be more fun because more quickly. But to remember is, how fast data transfers that can be generated depending on which network operators are used.

Then, RIM has also done upgrades from kitchen side of the runway. Namely by peged 624 MHz processor power. This is the same processor used in Onyx. While in the Gemini 512 MHz processor just installed.

Sure, this will affect the computation process will be done from the device. The greater processing power, the sooner it will be a computational process.

Other features that exist in the Curve 3G is already equipped with the built-in GPS, which does not exist in Gemini, and was ready to carry the BlackBerry OS 6. But for the beginning, the products will enter Indonesia in September was still present with BlackBerry OS 5.

Can be seen right reasons? The bottom line is, try to lift the prestige of RIM's Curve family through this 9300 series by adding several important features to further facilitate the operations of a BlackBerry device.
