Motorola is committed to bring the tablet device like the Apple iPad. The device attempted to slide next year.
"We're just going to develop a tablet if that's necessary. Hopefully early next year can we launch," says Motorola co-chief Sanjay Jha, while speaking at the Deutsche Bank Technology Conference in San Francisco.
Launched by the Straits Times, Thursday (09/16/2010), Jha said Motorola will develop Android-based tablet. So far, Motorola does not take into account the tablet as a device capable of raising the company's financial performance. They even tend depend on the smartphone.
"I saw the tablet market as an opportunity. If we are also developing smart, certainly there will be no cannibalization on smart phones," said Jha.
According to Jha, IPAD itself is intended as an extension of the iPhone and not a change from a Macintosh. And he saw this as a natural expansion is good for Motorola.
"Convergence of mobile and the computer was quite important to us. Certainly a lot of factors that arise in the future, and more focused on smartphones," said Jha.
