LG plan OLED TV in 2013 Price list

The CEO of LG Electronics spoke in a bulletin about the future of OLED for the korean company.

My last challenge is to introduce OLED-Tv in to the market and the goal is that LG are the leading company for that amazing technology.

Mr. Young Soo Kwon says that OLED-TV can enter the mass market in 2013. LG plans to ramp up a 8 gen OLED production line for that goal. Only the 8 gen manufacturing line can produce cost effective OLED-Television devices. At the IFA-2010 LG show a new 3D 31 inch panel.

Following the successful work on a new $226 million arm of their manufacturing plant vice president of LG Display Jung Ho announced that the company are to triple OLED production by the end of 2013.

These won't just be concept pieces either, but retail sets at very respectable sizes. A 31 inch model is due to hit shops in Europe and the US before the year is out, while a 55 inch prototype is expected to be teased at either IFA 2011 or CES 2012.
